Priesthood Power

The power of the priesthood is such a blessing in my life. I have been blessed to have a wonderful father who offered me special father's blessings when I needed them. My sweet husband has also given me blessings of comfort and healing when I was in need. The priesthood power is real. I have felt its power. I know that it is power wielded from my Heavenly Father. I also know that it was through the power of the priesthood, that Heavenly Father created the Universe. Priesthood power can do mighty things both on a grand scale and on a small scale. I am so grateful for my testimony of  priesthood power.

                                                                        Priesthood Power Quotes
“But there is one way in which we are one in our charge in the priesthood. We sanctify ourselves and fulfill our individual duties to the commandment to take the gospel to all of our Heavenly Father’s children.” Henry B. Eyring, "We Are One" April 2013 General Conference: Priesthood Session

“I pray that wherever we are and whatever duties we have in the priesthood of God, we will be united in the cause to bring the gospel to all the world and that we will encourage people we love to be cleansed from sin and to be happy with us in the kingdom of God.”Henry B. Eyring, "We Are One" April 2013 General Conference: Priesthood Session

“It can be discouraging at times to know what it means to be a son of God and yet come up short. The adversary likes to take advantage of these feelings. Satan would rather that you define yourself by your sins instead of your divine potential. Brethren, don’t listen to him.” President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, "Four Titles" April 2013 General Conference: Priesthood Session

This is our first and foremost responsibility as priesthood holders—and it applies to both Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthood holders. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ blesses lives not just when we believe it—but much more when we live it. It is in the application of gospel principles that individuals are uplifted and families are strengthened. It is our privilege and responsibility not just to talk the talk but also to walk the walk.”President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, "Four Titles" April 2013 General Conference: Priesthood Session

“You have your own special contribution to make, and God can magnify that contribution in a mighty way. Your ability to contribute is not dependent upon your calling in the Church. Your opportunities for service are endless. If you are waiting on the sidelines, I encourage you to get in the game.” President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, "Four Titles" April 2013 General Conference: Priesthood Session

"The consummate power of the priesthood has been given to protect the home and its inhabitants. The father has the authority and responsibility to teach his children and to bless and to provide for them the ordinances of the gospel and every other priesthood protection necessary. He is to demonstrate love and fidelity and honor to the mother so that their children can see that love." President Boyd K. Packer, "These Things I Know" April 2013 General Conference

“I have never known of a man who looked back on his working life and said, “I just didn’t spend enough time with my job.” Dallin H. Oaks, "Good, Better, Best" October 2007 General Conference

“The Lord has given to all of us, as holders of the priesthood, certain of his authority, but we can only tap the powers of heaven on the basis of our personal righteousness” Spencer W. Kimball “Boys Need Heroes Close By,” Ensign, May 1976, 45.

"The power of the priesthood comes only when those who exercise it are worthy and acting in accordance with God’s will." M. Russell Ballard, "This is My Work and Glory", April 2013 General Conference

"Men and women have different but equally valued roles. Just as a woman cannot conceive a child without a man, so a man cannot fully exercise the power of the priesthood to establish an eternal family without a woman."M. Russell Ballard, "This is My Work and Glory", April 2013 General Conference
